I think that's the project for this weekend

I compost, so I will be mixing the topsoil with that.

Hopefully by the beginning of next week, the plants will be in. You have to be careful in Michigan. Late season frosts happen often.

You'll have to post some pictures once you get it done and things start growing. I definitely don't have a green thumb! LOL Hi, Lynn! My husband put two raised beds for me together tonight. We are going to get topsoil from a nursery and mix it w/some good stuff. Right now I have a 4 x 12 and a 4 x 4. I think we will just try that this year, and if it works well, build some more. Our garden does not have very good soil in it...clay is only a foot beneath the topsoil. I am so excited!
