Well , I am at a loss now. Saw Rheumy regarding Orencia and Tremors. He said Orencia isn't known to have neuro side effects and doesn't know what this is. My legs were tremoring back and forth the whole time I was the office. He is having me see a neurologist again. Wanted me to have my normal orencia infusion today but said if it makes me feel better we could skip it until I see the neuro. I see her June 2nd. I just want to throw my hands up. He's a good dr. Very knowledgeable. My last MRI looked normal so what the heck is going on? When I was first diagnosed 3-4 years ago I noticed my thumbs had a tremor that was on plaquenil only. When I started Enbrel tremors worse and in all parts of my body, buzzing in feet. I stopped and tremors quieted down buzzing stopped. Started Humira tremors started getting worse again. Stopped and 3 weeks later started Orencia. Tremors still going , tongue, lips, fingers, knees.. I give up. Just so depressing. If the doctors don't know what this is , what am I supposed to do? Treat my ra with these meds and hope I don't have some neurological problem getting worse? I've had Wierd pressure in my head when on these meds, not headaches but uncomfortable Wierd pressure almost daily , off balance dizzi spells for a while now. I'm sitting here at my doctors office parking lot just shaking my head when I should be driving home... I'm just so at a loss right now. It's been what 3-4 years and still can't find the right medicine for my RA... Now neuro problems?

Thanks for letting me vent...I'm so sorry for what you're going through Kelly. I also think iit's a good idea to see a neurologist again, but you might also want to consider getting a  second opinion from another rheumatologist. According to my RD, all of the biologics we're on have the potential to cause neurological side effects, in addition to the RA itself. The fact that the tremors stop or lessen every time you stop a biologic, speaks volumes. Don't give up until you get an answer, and be sure an let us know what you find out.
One reason I was taken off the the Humira was due to numbness and tingling in my hands.  Definately get another opinion.Kelly, big, big
