It has probably been some months since I wrote, I read every few weeks now and then.
All is going well with the RA, just had another Actemra infusion a couple of days ago, and I take the oral MTX once a week. Ever since last October/Nov. there have been no signs at all of any RA activity, there is no more pain. I had one spot in the middle of my left foot, where the middle toe joint was really bad. That is totally gone now. I do lots of physical stuff once again, many months of yard work, redoing the rear deck, go hiking. It is unbelievable, a year ago I thought my life was over or was destined for a wheel chair, it was awful. Some combination of these drugs sure seems to be working.
I am still in the drug trial for Actemra, there is really no news about that, the people are very nice, I show up on time and follow all directions. Have had no other health problems. I was glad to see Lynn and others are doing well. Nice to see no recent troll activity! I worry sometimes what will happen when this trial ends in a little over a year, I have no idea what insurance company I will have then or what they will say about treatments.
