bone scan? | Arthritis Information

Has anyone had a bone scan to look for active RA? I have one coming up and wondered how helpful they are.

A few years ago he joked and asked if I wanted to see how strong my bones are and gave me an order for a bone density scan. I really didn't want and really saw no use for it. I had the x-rays done not the bone density scan.
