I know it has been awhile, but it turns out my finger was more damaged that the doc orginally thought. I decided against having it pinned, but I now have a big, clumsy splint on my hand You two need to be extra careful working together.....no more splints. Hope it feels better soon.
Yesterday was my first Rituxan infusion and it went well. I was prepped at 8:15 and left about 1:30. A long day. No side effects except for the IV Benadryl...quite a nice little high!!
I was terrified going in but am much more relaxed now.
It's hot, hot, hot, 105 degrees this past week. Typical desert weather but I love the heat. We just stay inside during the hottest part of the day which is usually between 3 and 5:00. The kitties are puddles now, so I know it's hot.
We're off to Lowes for more red geraniums. I try and buy local but.......geraniums in town are .99 each and 20 miles away at Lowes they're .99 for the same size. So much for buying local since I need 10 of them. We'll probably have sushi while we're in the neighboring town and maybe stop by one of my favorite thrift stores. I'm looking for a 60's swag light, one with the shade and not the glass. I want to recover the shade and use in an area where I need an overhead light.
The county, state, federal government has cut funding to the senior centers and their programs, so I've resigned from my job. Only 1 of my programs survived so I'm turning it over to someone who needs the hours and I'm quitting and devoting time to myself. I'm quite relieved since I made the decision. No more politics.
