Hi everyone, I'm new to the boards. I was diagnosed with RA in 8/04. I've been on MTX (15mg) for 7 months, started the prednisone in 8/04 and I'm now down to 1mg. I've gained soooooooo much weight. I'm wondering if anyone on these meds have issues with their feet. My feet are very itchy and dry around the toes. This has never happened before. I also tire quickly. Can't walk around or even stand for too long anymore. I'm 45 and feel like and beginning to look like I'm 65. Any help?
I had the same problem with MTX and Prednisone, gained alooooooooot of weight also. Feel were real dry and itchy. Keep them lotioned up, best thing is called Udder Cream (was originally used on cows udders) you can find it at Rite Aid Pharmacies. Works real well on dry skin. Let me know if it works for you.
