I LIVE IN CANADA AND I JUST STARTED GOLDSHOTS I WAS ALLERGIC TO MTX AND IMURAN I AM NOT DOING SO GREAT ON GOLD SECOND SHOT LOTS OF SIDE AFFECT INCLUDING A HUGE FLARE 24 HRS AFTER THE SHOT AND IT IS VERY PAINFULL WHEN AND AFTER I GET THE SHOT ANYWAYS ANYBODY EVER GET THEM...TERESA

Sorry to hear about the problems with Gold shots. I took them a long time ago (around 20 years ago) I always had a terrible headache the next day. Sometimes I would have mouth sores for several days. I had to stop gold when I started having Kidney Stones . The Dr. said the gold was the causeof them to. I still have kidney stones but not as often !! Thank goodness , they would never pass and couldn't be broken up with the laser. So be careful ! I hope you feel better soon and maybe they will start to work on the RA .. Jeanna
no more goldshots have broken out in hives and am flaring just like last week so only had 2 shots the readout said the rash takes 1 wk after starting the first shot to start so it took 8 days it is on my hands and arms and is spreading quickly. so am getting faster at stopping the med cause of a allergy.teresa
