Has anyone gotten any rashes since they've been on methotrexate or Humira? I have just recently developed a rash on the side of my face, and also on my right arm and both legs. The rash consists of tiny, slightly raised red bumps. The dermotologist is not sure what the rash is from--maybe photosensitivity, maybe the meds--anyone else experience this? I have had RA for one year.
I've heard of rashes from MTX all right, they often appear in the form of blisters or rashes. When i was on Plaquinal i ended up with photosensitivity, i ended up getting sunburned in the middle of winter ( not something you would expect during an irish winter! ).
I didnt have that problem on MTX, but i have heard of it.
Best thing you can do is have a chat with your Rheumy about it. Hope it clears up for you.
