Does anyone taking prednisone have a solution for this unfortunate side effect?Hi: How old are you?......it could be a combination of aging and pred. I think that pred. has more effect on your skin if you're older. I'm 60 and I notice the combination of age and med. has thinned my skin. I notice it more on my arms and the back of my hands. Since I've tanned it's not as apparent as before. I don't believe there is a solution. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but that's one of the side effects of Pred.
