Has anyone heard of this?? Any relation to RA??? Doctor now thinks I might have this - my muscle enzyme in bloodwork was elevated - on top of my symptoms.

I actually have a friend whose 9 year old daughter was dx'd recently with Juvenile Dermato-myositis. She got 4 weekly doses of Prednisone IV in addition to being put on Plaquenil, MTX, and oral steroids. It is another lovely Auto-immune disorder.
Myositis is muscle weakness, probably treated with your current regimen of RA meds, and the symptoms may (or may not) have been masked by your RA or RA meds-depending on what your on.
