Some days I feel my belly is tight, other days feel bloating. I always suspect that RA has come to my stomach and intestines. Does any one feel the same way or just me? Yes, me too. It could be irritable bowel syndrome which goes along with the RA and fibromyalgia which I also have. I just got over a 2 week period where I either had diverticulitis or irritable bowel problems. My stomach bloats a lot of the time anyway so it's hard to keep track of what is what. A lot of people with autoimmune disease have allergies to foods which can also cause the problems you mention. Anyway hope you feel better soon.I get bloated a lot too. I've heard about sometimes
people having food allergies, but always forget that
that can be one of the problems. I drink TONS of
milk. Maybe I should try to hole off for a week and
see what happens.
But interesting to hear that ra can cause bloating too.
Is it because of 'ra' type swelling?I wonder if it is from the medications?I blame everything on Prednisone!Pred. definitely causes bloating and all the steroids. I am about to give up on my fat stomach
