Has MTX affected anyone elses cycles? Everytime I initially go on it I hemmorhage at the next period. Is it bringing on menopause??
I believe MTX may have affected my cycle. I asked my doctor (rheumy) this past Monday and she said that more than likely (for me) it's the mtx PLUS my age (i'm 44). But she also that that most definately mtx can mess with your period. I just went to see my family doctor on Tuesday to ask him and he said that it may be fibroids and I'm going to have an ultra sound this afternoon to rule that out.
My problem has been heavy periods, spotting between periods,and irregular.

Yes, once i started it, I find my menstral cycle has a lot of blood clots and is extremely heavy.I would definantly talk to your doctor about it. It could be mtx or could be something else. I was having spotting for a while now I just bleed like 8 or 9 days. The last two days are like spotting though not that bad.
