Is anyone doing the Arthritis Foundation Walk?

i do it every day . just kidding, i would like to someday when i can

My Dad and Husband have been making jokes about all of the people with creaky sore joints trying to do a hike. "ow oo ee ow!"

I paid my neighbor kid .00 to go get my mail today - LOL.   She's 4 - and she wants a full time job getting my mail now... LOL

woobieI am doing the walk tomorrow morning at the Phoenix zoo.  I raised 240 dollars for my walk, and I can't believe how fast and easy it was.
Phoenix is another place  I want to visit someday.... my friend Sean keeps telling me he will take me. He is so sweet.

I'm having trouble taking walks as my knee is so swollen. It has been drained twice recently.

I have to go buy all new summer clothes. I just can't believe it.

I know what you mean. Now that the warm weather is here, I took out my summer clothes - and nothing fits! I had gone down 30 pounds last summer, but since I have had no energy what so ever, I think I must have gained it all back again.  I am too scared to step on the scale and see how much I have gained back....About the walk I would but since I could barely drive to my mothers house I doubt it. Its 45min but half way there I wanted to stop my feet were killing me. By the time I got there my ankle and feet were swollen I had to stay there a couple of hours to recove before driving back. Never had that problem before. I can even walk with my kids up and down the street to much pain and swelling. Yep, we're doing the walk on May 20 in Cleveland.  So far Team "Pugnacious" has raised almost 0. I would love to do another arthritis walk.  I think I just might do one this summer. They are holding one not far from me. I did it before. In honor of my aunt. Yep! Well...not actually doing the walk. I'm on the walk committee this year so doing all the planning/organizing stuff, and volunteer stuff day of walk. Go to your local walks-people put a lot of time and effort into planning:)

Hey Dar- do you  think that you could actually go to the walk in Dec? I might be able to pull it off...It is still so far away, pleanty of time to save up some money. It would be cool if a bunch of us could go!Oh...yikes! I was just looking at the Hawaii thing and that is for the regular Arthritis Foundation. The Joints in Motion deal is you raise the money and they pay for your trip. It is more than just a regular walk. This is either a day long hike or a 26 mile walk/run. It says that about half of the people that participate have arthritis, but I dont think I am ready for that. It doesnt say if you can just go and do it. They do have regular walks in Hawaii but they are in May....maybe next May???It would be a lot of fun...
