I don't know what to do with myself. My gardener's came this morning and did my yard and planted that strip of weeds next to the sidewalk. Wow what a difference.
NOW I feel so wierd. The housekeepers showed up for the first time. They don't speak English. I am sitting on the couch with my dogs trying to stay out of their way. I love the smell of bleach if I am not the one using it - lol. I have no idea what they are going to do today as we can't communicate but I am supposed to get the carpets and the windows done. I am not a good housekeeper - it is going to be amazing to be in a clean house. Only time I am in that clean of a house is when we go on vacation and we rent one
Woke up hurting bad this am. My back - hmmmmmmm. I think I did too much preparing for the gardener and housekeepers. I FEEL SO PAMPERED. Now I just wish I had my hubby to share it with I love my cleaning lady. Her English isn't too good but we can communicate. She will do extra things for me without asking me. I try not to mess up the place to much as I like the way it smells and looks after she gets done. The nicest thing about her is that she will move all of my little nicknacks and dust under them and not around them. I find myself looking forward to the day she comes. I don't know what I did to deserve such a good person as she is.
Roxy, hope that you have a excellent one and that she's worth her weight in gold. It's so nice to be able to have a nice clean house without hurting yourself trying to do it by yourself. That's great Roxy! I'm glad you're getting pampered. Make sure you let your husband know how happy he's made you
Marigold, you are so right. I am just enjoying my house today, usually it is pressure- looking around at the dirt and seeing all the things that need to be done. Also, it is a motivator to pick up your messes before the housekeeper gets there. It is so worth the money. I recommend it to everyone. It really is not that expensive. The gardener is nice because then you can have the energy to plant those seeds you have been meaning to plant or transplant that root bound plant - you know what I mean. Hooooray for the service industry.
I am curious. It was around 5 for the first time, that is carpets cleaned, windows washed, super cleaning. Anyway, I gave them when they left. Is that cheap? I didn't even know if you are supposed to tip them. I would like to know if you guys tip your housekeepers. I don't have any idea, never did this before. Thanks.
You aren't supposed to prepare for the people that are coming to do your work for you! :) LOL. They don't know where to put my stuff. I obviously don't either as it ends up all over the tables and the floor
