I had taken enbrel for 8 months, the first 2 shots I thought they had found the cure, then they became less effective, and finally I noticed that my right hip and mucles along there were contstantly tight. I am now off the enbrel till I see a neuorlogist because of some tingling and numbing in my legs and the brain mri should a lesion in the white matter and a cyts on the pineal gland, never heard of that one, anyway has anyone else experienced muslce pain with enbrel?

Gena, Why not inject your tummy instead of your thigh? Butterfly, I love my Enbrel - I just wish it lasted longer. The effects are gone after a few days but I don't want to give it up.
I saw a Chinese accupuncturist today and he took one look at me and said "in very broken English"..."You need to lose 30 pound..your tummy too big!" How do you like that?? He's right!! Gena, I put on 35 pounds on pred. and it all went to my stomach. More fat to pinch and I think needle goes in easier. Trust me - I know how depressing a gut is. My body is now totally out of proportion and I used to take such pride in looking athletic
PS I am so depressed. I can't stand the thought of my hubby seeing me naked and we have only been married almost a year
