Disabled sign | Arthritis Information

With having RA, are we eligible to have a disabled sign to go in your car? It is so hard for me to walk a long ways to get into the grocery or to go and pay bills. Just wondering

I have one because of my RA.  Although I only use it on bad days.I have one - my rheumy didn't even ask me about it just gave me the signed form to take to the license office and it has been so nice to have.  Hugs and good vibes.I never even thought of getting one.  It would be nice to have on those bad days.I'm not there yet, but when I was in the hospital last week for tests, a nurse came up to me and asked if I wanted one of the little motorized carts. I said, "No thanks," but I thought - do I look that bad? I guess I do. I don't see myself that way.

I would love to have that some days! I used my moms van one day and her handicap sticker. I felt bad at first, but I got over it quick! It was so nice!

If your doctor will fill out the form you can get a handicap placard or tags.  I also have my own handicap parking spot with signs in front of my house.

Definitely a plus. I had one for awhile when I was using a cane. Loved it. I let it expire though. I don't use the cane any more so it forces me to walk a bit more.
