I am losing it | Arthritis Information

This morning I noticed the label when I went to take my relafin I take every morning.  It was LORTAB.  They look the same and are in the same kind of bottle.

Am I losing it or what.

PS  I had a lot more energy this morning

Now, it is a great suggestion to get one of those boxes because it keeps you organized and you wont worry about what you did or didnt take. Also if you have to pack in a hurry to go to the hospital or some other emergency, you could take them with you easily. You dont have to open a million bottles every day and that is a good thing when your hands are weak and sore. Some things to remember, they arent child safe so keep it in your purse or put away, and always keep a list in your wallet with your ID and insurance card. The list should have the drug name and dose, how often you take it and if it is an injectible you should put that on the card too. As well as things that you only take weekly or as needed and wont be carrying with you. You should also list your allergies and then include the date on the list. Always update it when your meds change.  If you collapsed today, is there anyone that really would be certain as to exactly what meds you are taking now or have taken in the past week? How many things are in the med cabinet or you bag that you dont ususally or even ever take? I use a standard size note card and then fold it in half. It fits perfectly in my wallet. I have been on the other side of the desk from sick patients and their frantic families, digging through a sack of medicine bottles and trying to count pills and sifting through the dates on the lables to guess what the patient was actually taking---very time consuming especially when time is a factor in providing care.

Can we say "soap box"
