I got approved for the Enbrel from my ins. co. I dont know what the copay will be yet--hopefully it wont be too bad.  It is going to be delivered to my house. I hope I get it by next weekend but I think it will be more like the following week. Can someone on Enbrel tell me how many Mg/ml does it come in and how many Ml are in a vial. I am trying to estimate my cost.I'm really happy that you got approval for Enbrel.Good luck, Crunchy! I hope this one is the magic bullet for you.  That's great news, Crunchy!  Good luck with it!

I take 50mg in an injection on Wednesdays. You have to inject slowly because it can burn a little. The Enbril took 2 days to start working for me and I am back to heavy exercise 5 times a week. I was barely walking in October. This is my 5th month. I pay 0.00 per month and it is worth every penny!!

Congrats Crunchy...that is great news!  I take 50mg injections once a week as well.  It needs to be refrigerated so you will probably receive it overnight once they send it...mine comes packed in ice packs.

Good luck!  I hope it works for you.

That's great news Crunchy!

I'm at 50 mg, others are at 25. My insurance sends me a three months supply for which is incredible.

They told me to set the syringe out for five minutes first, ice the area, then use the alcholol. Hurts more to do it in the legs than in the belly.

Crunchy,  Enbrel didn't cure me but it sure made my life more tolerable.  I hope it gives YOU your life back.  It has for many.  Congrats.  I am especially spoiled with my insurance, I pay for three months worth.  My husband works for the RR and has excellent benefits - Thank God.  Let us iknow when you get it.  For me - the first time I injected it - I felt amazingly better.

Mine come already in the syringes, ready to inject.  And they come in "cold packs" overnight....and you gotta keep them in the fridge...

I'm glad your insurance covers it.  It works for me (at least right now) and it only took a couple of days....... it's amazing.

good luck!
woobie

Thank for all of the tips too. I usually let my MTX sit for a few minutes too. It burns anyways...but I would rather that once a week than to take pills every day.
