My hubby called today and said "Mother's Day is tomorrow so Happy Mother's Day"

WHAT

I don't know if my kids will remember. My son probably will, he is really good at that thing. My daughter will forget. She always does.

I'll call my mom.

Yeah...the call to your daughter would be a good idea.

My son was here yesterday and spent the night (he's about 2 hours from here) and is on his way home now since he works tomorrow.  He gave me some flowers.  My daughter is in Toronto with a friend to see a Fall Out Boy concert, so she'll be home tomorrow sometime.  She said that the 2 of us would go for a massage sometime this week for my gift.  Steve bought me a nice clock for our familyroom.

We went to Steve's mother's last night to give her her gift.  Tonight we're going to my mother's to give her her's.  Thought I'd pick up a pie as well so we can have that with some tea when we get there.

Happy Mother's Day!!I'll call my mom and be thankful for her!!

LOL  I give.  Hubby called and said it is too late, I can't find any florist that will deliver this Sun.  They are all booked.  What about Monday.  I said never mind.  Will he ever learn???????  He really does screw up holidays.  I don't care about Christmas, I think it is way too comercialized but Mother's/Father's Day, birthdays and our FIRST ANIVERSARY - He had better get a grip on.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY ALL..................

PS  I never call Kelsey on Mother's Day because when I have, she feels really really bad she missed it.  But I will celebrate and feel good about life tomorrow and call her the next day.

My kids made me little cards and "coupon" books at school. They gave them too me Friday in the car on the way home.

That's nice too considering my children are too young and broke to "buy" me a gift. my daughter makes me a sweet card every year and treats me sweet all day. I'm lucky if my 16 year old son says "Happy Mother's Day" he doesn't mean to be rude I don't think....he's just all about himself these days. I don't "expect" anything.....then I'm always surprised and thrilled with the smallest things.
