socks or no socks? | Arthritis Information

What is better for your feet socks or no socks? What kind of socks do you feel provide the most support? Warmth without adding too much bulk? Least ammt of tightness around swollen ankles? I like Peds ankle socks and Danskin Now ankle socks. I wonder what everyone else is useing. Sometimes I like to have barefeet, but not if I am going to be up and about or my feet start to really hurt. I at least have to put some flip flops on.

I like the night socks that are super thick. I always buy bigger size sock so there a little loose. I use to hate socks now they are my best friend I cant walk around my house without them. I dont even like wearing shoes right now because of the swelling and pain in my feet. Penny's has some nice soft socks that come in beautiful, brilliant colors.  I love them - easy to slip on and off and oh soooo pretty.  I don't usually wear socks except around the house.  Most of the time I'm in my crocs or sandals. We've been in hot humid weather for the last 7 months and are now in the dry, arid desert.  My feet are so sensitive that I have to wear socks around the house.  Thank goodness for Crocs! Are the socks at Penny's their brand or what?

I'm a socks girl for sure.

I like big fluffy ankle socks (dont' go past ankle) but don't like the footies that are very low on ankle.

But, when i wear shoes i like the thinner kinds in case my feet swell i will still have room.

I used to love flip flop type shoes but have psoriasis now and dry feet due to RA so i don't like them to show.

Plus, i like to be hot, makes my OA feel better so socks are always on even in the hot louisiana summer.

Crunchy I don't iknow the brand.  All I know is they're bright.  I'm a barefoot person. Maybe it was from years of being barefoot & pregnant! In the winter I do wear slippers. I need some good slippers. I keep buying them, but then I dont wear them because they always seem too slippery. I actually started wearing the crocs around the house when the weather was still cold.
