Lots of you probley have a long weekend and today off! Yippie! Anyone doing anything special? I plan on doing NOTHING! Rest, get some tea, lay down, get online, rest, tea, lay down. Yep, that's my plan for the day! Now lets see if it actually works out that way. Happy Memorial Day to all!
My hubby is making home-made New England clam chowder and BBQ ribs for our dinner, so I get some time off. I plan on doing some genealogy and just enjoying our wonderful summer-like weather!

I am bummed. I would get triple pay working Memorial DayHey guys, I just got back from San Antonio/New Braunfels. My aunt and uncle opened a resturant just outside of SA in the mountains and my husband helped them cook for the grand opening on Sat. On Sunday we went and tubed the Guadalupe river. I thought the cold water would bother me but it was okay. Of course the hot shower at the hotel last night was the best ever! Today we relaxed and then headed home. The worst part to the trip was sitting in the truck. Even though it is not real far, only about 3 hours if you drive straigh through, it was really uncomfortable. My hips bothered me after sitting for a while. We stopped to stretch a few times and that helped. I was also tired the whole time because I dont sleep well when I am not home.
It was nice to get away...I am already ready to go back, it was too short of a trip.
