I just get soooo stiff when i take it for 3 days after. My neck swells up, my sinuses, right under my ears, shoulders too. It hurts and drives me nuts.
I think the neck and shoulder is actually related to my sinuses and that pain. It's like im having allergy problems to this. Nose slightly runs, a little wet caugh comes on too.
Drives me nuts.
I'd check with your doctor. Not everyone can take MTX.....you might be one of those folks. I hope not for your sake; it's been a life saver for me!Have you mentioned this to your doctor?I do the same thing runny nose muscle pain in the neck and sholder area. I thought is was from having my long hair up all day.And I'm on MTX & haven't had those reactions (have had others). Make sure you mention them to your doctor. I've had continual sinus pain along with dizzyness, ringing in my ears and a slightly runny nose. Right now I'm in the middle of an infection along with fever and diarhea. I'm not sure whether it's the MTX or Enbrel causing this trouble. I've had to g o off both meds 5 times since starting them. I also have Sjogren's so it's hard to determine what's causing what but It seems to happen a few days after MTX or enbrel.I will mention it when i go in june, on the 20th i believe it is.
