I have been off of Mtx about 7wks due to an elevated liver count (60). I was on (20mg a week)I just went off of sulfasalzine 2 weeks ago due to intestinal distress. I just got my prescription for enbrel and was waiting to hear about my blood work when I got a shock. The nurse told me that I could have been exposed to Hep C. I have been married for 14 years and have not cheated and he has not cheated. How can this be? Did the combo therapy screw up my Hep count??? I now have to go back to my GP and get more tests. So I have a prescription for Enbrel which I was hoping would really help me. I can not fill it until the liver crap is straighten out. Has any one heard of this happening before???????????
