Last night I bought a bottle of crown royal and made me whiskey sours.  I cannot drink when my hubby is around, my body was so sore, I thought I deserve a little relaxation.  Never again.  (I probably said that before

PS  At least  I didn't post

This torturing stuff, though, you probably want to cut that out. What were thinking? Girl, you certainly know how to have a good time.

You are too funny

Hope you're feeling a bit better now.I can identify.  Went through a drive through place that had home made strawberry pie, got it, ate it.  Then to a place right beside it with cinammon roles, got one, ate it, and went back through for 6 more!!  Ate 2 and finally felt "full".  But, it was all about dealing with the RA crap.  Will get rid of the other 3 rolls (ate one other when got home)  Just a little insanity break, I think any one with a chronic condition gets them.  Healthy coping styles sometimes just don't hack it! Thanks Angie.  That's it exactly.  Sometimes I just have a "meltdown".

Trisha

Trisha,  It definitely reduced my appetite after I weaned from pred.  Problem is my waist won't go away but I have lost seven pounds.  I totally craved carbs on pred.  Don't feel bad, you are not alone.

I don't ever do the binging thing. I guess my weight is from less activity, and portion size because of the Prednisone. My doc says Prednisone just makes it all go to fat. Thanks a lot.

But if anyone wants to take me out for a good steak dinner, I'll really try to binge, really.

I do have weaknesses, Krispy Kreme donuts (I don't know if they have them elsewhere, but they postively melt in your mouth), and ice cream. Oh, and don't forget the cheesecake! Cannot say no to that.

I made chocolate chip cookies the other day ate at least 6 and they were big cookies too. I cooked them I deserve to eat them. I get day where all I want to eat is chocolate or something tany or fruity like skittles. I think its ok as long as its not every day. I have had more of an appetite today...but I have been doing better the last 2 weeks. I lost 3 lbs so far. I still have another 40 to go. I am going to just quit eating one of these days!

Deanna~theirs a Krispy Kream factory right down the road from me. So close you can smell them!!

We don't have a real Krispy Kream shop here in our town; but they deliver to all the local grocery stores so you can buy them pretty fresh. Not exactly "HOT DONUTS NOW".....but still pretty fresh.

When I was pregnant I craved them all the time. YUMMY!!

I would go insane if there was one that close to me. They have them next to the coffee at the convenience stores. Sometimes, I honestly cannot resist. Shame on me! But my tongue is so happy. donuts are the devil

Funny how food is hell and heaven at the same time.  That yin and yan thing

I binge and I'll happily admit it.  Ice cream is my binge thing and also a daily coke.

I limit my ice cream binge to once a month and it works out ok.  The daily coke is harder.  I'm trying to drink one every other day.

Dieting is so hard because when I have stamina and feel pretty good I love to cook.  I know that I need to lose 50 evil pounds and my RA joints will feel so much better.  So far I've have lost 5 lbs in 2 weeks in spite of my binging.  Am eating more veggies, salads, and protein.   Wish lettuce was one of my binges! We have a little local bakery that makes the best doughnuts - better than Krispy Kreme (which I love!) - and the best sugar cookies. I haven't had any since before Lent. I'm packing on the pounds from prednisone, and I'm not even having anything fun doing it.

We have a Krispy Kreme & a Dunkin Donuts within 3-4 minutes from home. When I get to the end of my road I don't know if I should turn right or left. Dunkin---Krispy. Decisions...Decisions.

Trisha

You all make me so sorry I mentioned donuts. Tomorrow morning, I am stopping for one on the way to work. It's all I can do not to go out right now and get one.

Ah, but they will be fresh in the morning! However, this subject is pure torture, especially at the mention of chocolate donuts. Oh, go ahead and mix two of my favorite things together. You could really do me in if it was a fresh, hot donut with a side of ice cream melting on the side and a big cup of hot chocolate with whip cream on top to ease it down gently. Oh, that would be to die for. I can smell the sweetness right now.

I am a major homemade peaunt butter fudge fan!! I
love it while it is still warm.   mmmmmm.   Haven't
made amy in a long while, so maybe now is the
time! Lately my thing has been coffee ice cream.
