HI EVERYONE!!!!

I am sorry I have only been popping in and out lately, but I am dealing with terrible allergies and sinuses this year.  I am still off my arthur cocktail, but that is doing alright.  What the problem is the weather and the cottonwood, it is just terrible this year in my area of MI!!!   Our weather has been going from the high eighties down to low 70s and high 60s and the pressure changes are causing so much havoc. Saturday, my store was involved in the ramp blitz in our town, that is where we go and build a ramp for someone who needs one, but can't afford it.  The lumber and labor is all donated.  I have been organizing this for 2 yrs now at our store.  I am the go for person for our crew and I organize the lunch my crew eats.  Of course the disability center provides a lunch, but with a tight budget, it is usally bologna sandwiches.  So my crew got Koegal hot dogs, with potato salad, macaroni, salad ,a relish tray, made right chips(I hate their new name of better made!!!), and little debbie nutty bars, all thanks to my vendors I hit up for donations.  You would have thought they were having a grand feast!!!  hehehehehe The only other thing they wanted was a beer, but I told them we couldn't because we are representing our company.  We even had the supervisor of the ramp blitz eating with us because we had the better lunch!!!  We started at 8am and didn't get done till after 5pm due to some construction problems, but it was worth it, to see the smile on that woman's face to know she could get out of the house and go for a stroll around the block.  The next day was the killer for me, since I was outside all day, Saturday, and with all that cottonwood and other things flying in the air I had such a headache I couldn't even walk straight, and I hadn't even drinking!!!

Hope you're feeling better soon. Tell Rachel all your Buddies here are proud of her. That's awesome.

Try to get some rest....and visit more often. We miss you!

That's a really neat thing to do. More communities need caring people like you. Sorry you felt so bad afterward, but I'm sure you get great satisfaction from a job well done. Kick back and recop. you deserve it. You must be so proud of Rachel, what an acomplishment. We'll still be here when your time allows.

An army (of volunteers) works on its stomach. Every time that woman goes down her ramp, she will bless you all.

Congratulations to Rachel for a job well done. She must use her mom as inspiration (or inspirtation, which is what I typed first).

I hope you feel better soon, Meme - how far along do you have to be in the summer season to feel better?

What a wonderful thing to do

WTG Rachel!Gosh Meme, I don't know how you do it!  You are one amazing Rheumateer! (new word that means a woman with RA who volunteers over and above her regular job.)  I hope that your employer appreciates you Meme.
And it looks like Rachel is coming right along behind you.  You must be so proud of each other.
Nice to see you posting...do it more often.

Luv, Justme You and your daughter are AWESOME!!!!Great job meme. You are a wonderful person to volunteer when you have your own health issues to consider. I think your daughter takes after you. I think helping others is a real morale booster.

That is a really neat idea, I have never heard of anything like that before.  I wish I knew more about things like that in my community. It must be really fun to volunteer your efforts to help someone else.

sorry you are sniffley and stuffy...at least you are keeping busy...

You have such a generous heart! That is a marvelous thing to do. I hope that your sinus trouble will be over soon and that you continue to do alright without your meds! I love that Toni - Rheumateer
