Damn it. My hips were not bothering me for awhile. That was always my worse pain and I woke up this morning - throb throb ouch. Yesterday at water exercise I was having a hard time because of my fall last week. I think I sprained my ankle. Anyway, both my ankle and my knee hurt. I think I will try to go to yoga this morning instead. it will be easier to baby my knee and ankle since most of the exercises are laying down. I hate to brag BUT I can't believe it - my scale showed I have lost ten pounds this morning since I got off pred. and have been exercising. That is great - LESS FAT FOR THE LIPO TO SUCK OUT

Also, the hip pain,etc. is typical when you start exercising. Remember you are tearing down muscle and rebuilding it. It's natural to complain. Switching activities around is an excellent way of dealing with it.

And, there is nothing wrong with going back to work. Sometimes when you have done more to build yourself up physically, like your swimming, and had a little time off, you can handle things better.
