Sinus problem | Arthritis Information

Now I know why I was so wiped out over the weekend. I've got a sinus infection. Haven't had one in a long time. It's not nice when you bend over to pick up something from the floor and it comes spinning up at you. Haven't gone into work either. Went to the doctor yesterday and I was wearing my sandles. It's been hot and I couldn't get my feet into my other shoes. She just looked at my swollen feet and shook her head. Yes my RA was acting up. We had a hard time finding a antibiotic that I could take. Finally found one and I couldn't get it filled as the pharmancy said that it would react with my mtx. I had to wait until they could talk with the doctor. I never knew that it would be this diffcult to get a antibiotic. While I was waiting, I started to look at the support section and I saw this lumbar back support. I read the information panel on the package and decided to get one. Had to go back home to get more money to pay for the thing. I got home with my support and tried it on. It felt like heaven! Will give it a try at work tommorow. Hopefully, my back won't be killing me at the end of the shift.
Hope that you have a good and painfree day.

MarisaHope your back support works well for you MarisaUnless they work with MTX most dr's don't realize that you can't take a
pencillin based antibiotic. It increases the toxicity of MTX in your
system(don't I sound intelligent...My best friends hubby is a dr.). You can
for a shot period of time but they would rather you take a sulphur based
antiobotic.

I hope you feel better....I am in the same boat. Let's jump ship together!

beckyWow, these are rough times for everyone. I thought that once summer got here, we'd be in high cotton. I hope your sinus infection gets  better. Those are MISERABLE things.

Oh good news Becky. I'm allergic to sulfa and pencillian.

Marisa, glad you found out was causing you to feel so bad and hope that back support makes your life much easier.
