I was going to get lipo but he said I should get a tummy tuck or I would have saggy skin
I go to city doctor Friday. I am praying I can work six hour days split shift so I can go to water exercise. It has been amazingly good for me. Finally - I feel like I can move again. Too bad it is only in water. Brett and I are looking to move up north. Now everywhere I search on the computer I loook to see if they have "water aerobics"
Good luck on Friday. Be persuassive.
You have alot of exciting things going on! THat's wonderful. Moving and tummy tuck.
From working at the surgery center where we did them all the time, I strongly suggest you find out how many of them your surgeon has done before. We've had relatively new Dr.'s do them with less that prefect results, and it seems to take the newer Dr. much longer to do the surgery, which adds to the time your under anesthia. The newer guys usually cost less too. The Dr.'s that have done them for years have wonderful results and can do it in no time. Plus the shorter time he quotes you the less the cost for him and anesthia.
Have you ever heard of Deep Creek Lake in Maryland? It's right up your ally with the creeks and rafting.
I'm gald things are looking up for you!
Roxy why are you looking to move north? Arent you afraid that the colder climate will bother your joints? Ever thought about Texas?
Good luck with everything :) Like I said in the other post, I''ve been very happy with my tummy tuck. I'm sure you'll be pleased with the results. What did the doctor say about you having RA? Is it an issue at all? Lots of exciting things going on for you Roxy...Good Luck! Doctor said he would have to get approval of rd which is going to be some work. I figure if I go back to work which I want to, I can't get it done until Oct. I have two more appts. I did ask db how many he had done. He said 50-60 a year for 20 years. BUT - he was not board certified. The next one is cheaper I think but he IS board certified and I thought it was a good sign I could not get in for a month. The one I went to see yesterday - I got in in one week. I think I am going to do it for sure. I think we will be moving to Klamath Falls Ore. The weather is not too bad, less snow then where Brett lived and dryer climate. Housing prices are great and they have a ymca with water aerobics
I didn't exercise today. Woke up depressed. Two of my cats have been missing and a big ugly dog was in my backyard at 5:30 am - I have no idea how he got there. Anyway - Brett's cat has been gone for over a week and my Mousie who never leaves, has been gone for three days. I think that dog ate them
Tomorrow is the big doctor appt. I hope we can make plans soon. I am ready for change and Brett is too. Roxy, It sounds like you are really pulling things together. I am really excited for you. Now, when you have time in this very energetic phase of your brain activity, could you figure out my life. I haven't got a clue. Just kidding. I know that's my job, but I kind of suck at it. I think you are doing terrific.
It is in my longterm goals. I may or may not get one, but I want
to follow yoru story and see what you find out. How exciting.
Hope that you're able to get your tummy tuck. One of my co-workers lost over 100 lbs and her tummy was hanging down to her knees. She had one and now she looks so good and feels much better.
Good luck with your work and I hope that you can move closer to Brett's work.
MarisaThanks Marisa.
