Blood work question | Arthritis Information

I have a question about some blood work. If your RAF comes back a 23 & the reference is 1-13 IU/mL, is that considered high? And on a CBC if the MCV is 86.0 and the reference is 81.0 - 99.0 fl, what is that? Here's my take.  While 23 is higher than the highest reference level, and technically would be considered "abnormal."  HIGH is a relative thing.  My RF was 434 and I have heard of many that were WAY higher than that.  The MCV level is within normal limits.  It is a measurement of the Mean Corpuscular Volume and is measured by dividing your packed red blood cells (or hematocrit level) by your total number of red cells.  The bottom line is that if this level is elevated it can be indicative of issues such as liver failure or hypothyroidism among others.

Not sure if that clears anything up or not!
