Just an update to my post this week about our complaining neighbors and our grass.

Ok, Thursday comes, the day to do the yard and our weed wacker breaks down so husband goes and buys another.

He does part of the yard and guess what?  Breaks down again that night.

Friday we had to do orders for work, no stopping that, but today we returned the weed wacker to do the lawn "again" only to find it wasn't charged enough and stopped so my husband went and got his dad's and did the yard that way.

The entire time he was working on the yard, the nosey neighbors who i said always look in our yard from theres kept yelling at him asking why he didn't do it sooner, what was the reason, why did he wait so long, couldn't he get someone else to do it, why didn't he do it before anyway etc. etc. etc.

My husband told him finally to F-off and for my husband to say that to anyone at all is a miricle.

To put it plainly, my husband and I are the type of people who give in and let anyone have their way etc. to make them happy.  We refuse to try and have confrentation and always try to fix situations.

But this time, he got rude back at them.  I told him "will our house catch fire later" lol.

I tell you, they were getting evicted cuz they couldn't afford their home a few months back, sadly they found a way to pay it and catch up.  I wanted them gone.

Shanbr remember the old saying  GOOD FENCES MAKE GOOD NEIGHBORS????  Can You afford to put up a fort fence, this is a fence about the height you were talking about, along the side of the yard where these idiots have their porch or deck?  this will keep them from looking in your yard and from bothering the both of you.  If need to take pics of your yard and keep the letters from city hall too.  If you continue to get notices have a rep from city hall come and see that your grass is not overgrown and to have him or her verify it is fine.  Then if you  are still being harassed by these idiots, keep all papers and pics and even document anything said to you or your husband, with dates, etc.,  you can eventually take these to a lawyer, or to a judge to have a restraining order issued to cease and desist from bothering you.  I had a friend who went through this and they eventually had to do all of these things that I stated to get the neighbor to stop bothering them.  You have every right to have a peaceful time inyour yard without the neighbors hassling you. meme

I really relate to the situation you are in. It is soo important to feel relaxed in your own place, without the neighbours causing you stress.

So as you know how I understand, we had to sell our 2nd house and move, after enduring 2 years of 'the neighbours from hell'. In our case it was an endless 24/7 assault of loud music, parties and the neighbours brawling in the street.

Needless to say, this sort of thing's not good for our disease - it brought on my 2nd major flare up, that lasted 8 months.

Yours in sympathy!

No matter where we have lived, we have always had at least one crazy neighbor. We are friends with many of the people that live around us, but we always end up with one jack ass next door. Same here in this house. We have a single guy, about 30 years old, that fusses and complains about everything. On New Years this past year our neighbors accross the street popped firecrackers in the street and then, as always, they swept and picked up ALL of the trash. Meanwhile, a kid had cut his hand down in the neighborhood park and had dropped a wad of bloody paper towel in the street between the fire-cracker neighbor and the jack-asses houses. So jack-ass goes out the next morning, picks up the bloody paper towel, and puts it on the base of the basketball goal in the fire-cracker family's driveway. This family has 6 young children and they are the nicest, most generous people. Very calm, church going people. Well, the Dad  was so mad he went over to jack-asses house and told him off. He told him he had a lot of nerve putting a contaminated towel on something that his kids play on. We were only here 1 month and my husband went over there and yelled at him for putting trash in the handle of our front door because it blew in his yard and he was sure it was ours.

One time jack-ass thought our dogs were barking and so he put a radio on his back porch turned on the mexican station as loud as it would go and then pointed it at my house! My dogs were not even outside that day!

We suspect that he is the one that calls the HOA for every little thing. How else would they know that we had a flat-bed trailer in the driveway on Christmas eve/day? Apparently that is a violation, but we had it because we were using it for the 4-wheelers. Who would go riding around on Christmas to look for HOA violations? Only the nosiest neighbor in the world!

He is not a bad looking guy, he has a good job, owns a nice home....you would think he would be a good catch. Now that we have gotten to know him, I am not suprised that he cant keep a girlfriend!

It's a shame it came to that - I know it's stressful. But, he sure deserved being told off. Maybe now he'll see he can't bully you and let things be. dbmy338879.1464814815

When we first moved in, we had our trailer put on the lot (manufactured home communicty) and their yard was perfect and i told my husband "oh no" "hope they aren't picky people".

Well, they are LOL.

I can't stand my next door neighbors either. I refuse to talk to them.    I really believe and my husband does to - that they poisoned my cats.  They are really anal about there yard, are not animal lovers and God Forbid if a cat goes potty in their yard

My mom missed the old couple that lived next door and wanted new neighbors too, then new ones moved in.....

They sell drugs, play loud music 24/7 and have people coming all through the day and night.  Not the type of neighbors she wanted.
