For fun - Favorite Memory | Arthritis Information

I thought it might be fun to share what your favorite childhood memory is:

Mine is, when I was about 8 years old my father was a manager of an A&P store. We had an very bad ice storm and it had knocked out the power in the entire area. My dad had to go to the store to check on things. He returned home with his pickup full to the top of every kind of icecream and popcicles an 8 year old would ever want. We took icecream to all our neightboors and picked up my best friend. I remember my mom meeting us back at the door with 2 spoons telling us to " go to it girls". We sat in the (freezing cold) in the back of his pickup and had the best time ever. I remember it like it was yesterday.

Gosh, can't top that. How fun! Don't really have one that stands out at the
moment.
Let me think on it.

I learned to ride on the back of the Belgian work horses.  They were so broad that I could sit on their backs crosslegged and hold onto the reins and ride them around the fields.  To this day I can still smell their beauty and the fields around me.
