Several of you have mentioned not taking stronger medications because of the cost. I haven't used any of these but I wanted to pass them along to some of you here that might find them useful. I so hope that you might be able to find the help you need with one of these agencies.

I was finally approved for the trillium drug plan! There are so many drug assistance programs available in the USA....where as Canada has just a few. I think this might be because our health care is mostly taken care off. For example, using our health card, we can visit the doc for "free" or get recommended drug tests done for "free". "Free" actually comes our way because of the taxes we pay

The trillium drug plan is dependent on the income you make. The higher you make, the higher the deductible. Which doesn't quite make sense to me since the richer individuals don't really need assistance...Don't undersntad the logic. I don't receive a significant amount of deductible annually, but I guess it's better than nothing, right? I just wish I was given health benefits at work. Since I'm on contract, I don't receive benefits.  :-(

If anyone is from Canada and knows other ways I can get drug assistance, please let me know.

Thanks.

Lovie, you're wonderful!  I was perscribed Enbrel today, and called my insurance company to see what my copay would be.  Well with the deductible, it's way more than I can afford.  I'll give these a try and see what I can find.

Cris
