I take 1 tsp of Carlson Fish Liver Oil a day (with Lemon)

Am I wasting my $?????

I don't know anything about that type of fish oil.  But my DR did say to take Omega 3.  I buy a brand from Walgreens - they are huge liquigels capsules.  They have fish oil, borage and flaxseed oil.  A mix of all 3 to (I guess) cover all the basis for Omega 3 you need.  The brand is Natrol, Omega 3 Complex.  It's kinda pricey but they have buy 1 get 1 quite often.

I take the pills as well.   I use Flax Seed oil and can tell a difference. My stomach couldn't tolerate the fish oil. So, I try to eat a lot of salmon, tuna, and use olive oil for cooking.I trialled fish oil for several months and it sadly made no difference. But it might work for you. Good luck!I was told by my RD that the studies that have been done show no changes in RA with diet changes/supplements.  I have read that too. Sure if you eat better and are otherwise healthier, it is good for you, but there are even people here who are healthy eaters and exercise and they are still having the same problems the rest of us are.
