I did it! | Arthritis Information

I worked a full 12 hour night shift last night. First one since January. I did good too and it was a busy night. I dread going in to work, but I feel such a sense of accomplishment when I make it through each shift with out just falling out. If I could afford to not ever go back, I wouldnt...but since I have to go, I am glad that I can still get through. I may feel like a train wreck after but thats okay for now.

Until tonight I had been thinking I had been on Enbrel for 3 weeks but when I went to get my shot I realized I had taken 4 doses already. So this morning I took dose # 5. I have alot more energy since I started taking it...still have pain...but at least most of the time I am not totally wiped out, and I can stay awake long enough to work a full shift.

2 more weeks and then I go back on 12s all of the time. Finally.

Congrtulations Crunchy! I know it is hard. Getting through a shift takes a lot of energy. Hang in there!

Sounds like Enbrel Baby is starting to do it's thing!!!!!!!

Keep feeling well.

Crunchy, that is one hell of an accomplishment!  I am so tired just thinking about it!  Sounds like you love your job and I bet that the patients love you as well.  Hope the "feeling" lasts forever!

Luv~~~
That's fantastic, Crunchy! A 12 hr. shift - I'm not sure I could do that if I had to. So all of the crap you've put up with the shots are paying off. Congratulations! Yeah! I'm glad you had a good night.Boy, I don't know how you did it!!!!  Congratulations and go Enbrel go!
