Did you all lose the message boards for about 2 weeks or was it just me? Does anyone know what happened or what to do when you can't get the mnessage boards? Do they move it, or just take it off? I have gone through withdrawal for the last several months and have truly missed everyone. I'm so happy to have you all back.   I feel the same way lindaK. Although I've only posted a couple of messages in the past,  when I couldn't find the sight a few weeks ago I felt as though I had lost some friends! So happy to connect again.  Linda K, we were looking for you - we'd all moved over to 2 or 3 other sites - but we had no way to contact people who didn't go there.

ahug - everybody, please register with another site, so that you don't get lost again! Crunchy is collecting email addresses for anyone who is interested. We're trying to make a master list of people who "don't want to get lost" without harassing other people who have other RA homes or who don't mind being offline for a bit.

How are you, Linda? We were worried about you. When do you start setting up at your new school?

Hi Fiona et al, I already moved into my new school which was a real pleasure since the usual moving in my district takes place the day before school opens. I have a room to myself with a refrigerator and the person who I'm replacing who retired, left me all kinds of materials and information for getting started. I was even invited to the  last day of school picnic where I was formally introduced to the staff.

I survived shingles without too many complications although I'm still pox marked and having trouble with one eye not to mention cataracts that is probably the result of too much prednisone. All this has made me realize that I have a lot of unfinished business to attend to. Right now I'm starting a series of watercolors based on Italy. They are not illustrations. This time they are fine art paintings and they are just what I feel like doing. I am still waiting to hear about 2 childrens books I wrote and illustrated a few years ago. They are sitting with an wditor who at one time expressed interest in publishing them. I'm not holding my breath because almost getting published happens to me all the time.

I am so happy to have this board back. I didn't realize how much I depend on it for my emotional support. I was about to go to my fibromyalgia support group but luckily discoved we were up again so I don't need it.

Linda we missed you too!!!! Linda, I missed you. I'm glad we can talk again.Welcome back Linda.  We all missed AI.  There are a couple alternatives to find us if it goes down again.  4RAtalk and http://www.vf11.com/autoimmunedisea/autoimmunedisea.html.  I hope we never lose each other again.
