Hi All,

Had a lousy night, left off an extra pain med that I've been taking a while last night and didn't sleep well, and have swolled hands and a bad back today!!

Ho Hum..... could be worse, at least I'm not crying about it!!  Every cloud and all that.....

Maybe I'll take that pain med again tonight....then again it could just be the weather.  Here in London we've had about 4 season in one week.  It was decidedly chilly for 2 days and now the suns out and it's lovely and warm again.  Maybe my body just doesn't know which 'mode' to set itself in !!!

On top of all that I've got my 'doing' head on today.  I want to clean out all the cupboards, clear out all the junk, and tidy up all that stuff that's get put down in the wrong place when I've no energy to put it in the right place!  Usually body is in sync with mind...not today.  I'll just have to see how I go!

Take care all, hope you all have a good day.

Dawn

Isn't that always the way?

Hope it doesn't last long, Dawn.

Same with me Aurora.  I am so excited about my move, I want to start packing.  Two days now I have had a fever.  Spent the entire day in bed yesterday.  I miss my water exercise but know it would be stupid for me to try it.  It is the pits.  When you feel good for awhile, (I went to water exercise 5 weeks in a row, 3 days at least a week) it gets to you.  I don't even know if this is ra or the flu.  ARGH.  Don't overdo Aurora, you WILL regret it.     That seems to always happen that way. I had the flu and didn't know it. I thought it was my RA coming back or my other arthritis killing in.
Dawn, don't over do it. Take one tiny step at a time. The cupboards and the rest will wait.
Roxy, hope that you feel better and that it's not your RA.

MarisaI agree Don't overdo it. I tried walking over a mile 2 times this week to get ready for walking in Rome. I also went to my twice weekly water exercise class. Now I can hardly walk and I have cramping and gas pains in my lower intestine. Anyone else get these symptoms? I reduced my MTX recently but I also have diverticulosis. The pain is not specific, just gassy and crampy.Linda, sounds like your dt kicking in or maybe just a little stress at your upcoming trip...Have you taken anything for it?

So, I did clear out and tidy the bathroom cupboard, then the chest of drawers I have on the landing, which contains all our routine medical supplies.  It's half as full as it was.  So many cold meds and creams and unguents and potions were out of date, that I had to throw them!  Then the 1st spare bedroom, that still held the rest of the unpacking from our trip away to Aberdeen at the end of June.  Then my bedroom!  I spend a lot of time there, need I say more!  Then I stopped!!

I still have the 2nd spare room to sort.  It's also my computer room/office and one of the shelves fell off the wall last time we were away, and I haven't managed to get hubby to replace it yet.  I have filing and sorting and shredding and loads of stuff to find places for, 'til I get a new shelf!!  I need to do it before the end of July, as my niece and nephew are coming to stay for a week of so.

Surprisingly, although my hands ache again today, they are no worse than yesterday.  That said I'm not in the mood to tackle this room yet, it can wait!

Have a great day, all of you out there.

I have to do things like that or I just go crazy. Before I got so sick, that was my way of working out problems, cleaning. But that was the only time I like to clean. Organization makes me feel so much better mentally. But I always overdo it.

It's nice to hear that you successfully accomplished something you really wanted to do. BRAVO!!!! HANDCLAPPING!!!! ENCORE!!!!!
