So for those of you who were around before the big crash, I was on Enbrel and having mixed results...and some wicked migrains from it. So after 6 weeks on Enbrel my doc switched me to Humira. The actual process of getting it was much easier and I dont have to do the home delivery thing. I can pick up at the pharmacy and my copay is way less. I have only had one dose...but I think it may work...I dont want to speak to soon...so far though no bad headaches. I guess time will tell whether or not it will work. The weather has been very....constant...and that may also be why my joints are behaving this week. Oh, I do hope this works for you. The lack of bad headaches is a definite plus.

humira seems to work for me, ever since the 1st shot. good luck! keep us posted.

I've been on it over a year and a half now......weekly for more than a year and it's doing really well for me. Hope that will be the case for you also crunch.Oh good luck crunchy. I hope this works for you. You have such an optimistic spirit and I think that might help too.I think the Enbrel people would like to take me off it too. I have had so many infections. Now I have diverticulitis for the third time just in time for Rome. Every time they call to check up on me, I'm sick form something other than the RA. My GP wants me to retire. i was on humira for 2 years.my dr.took me off it he said there pts.on that started having heart problems.he took me off it .Well it has been exactly one week and so far so good. I am a little sore tonight, but I am due for my MTX tonight too. I am keeping my fingers crossed.

I started on the Humira Injections over a year Ago, Tryed to convince the RA Doctor to increase the frequency to every week, or 10 days for the last (6) months. It is a somewhat painful shot, and better if you let it warm up a bit before you inject. I think at first it was working, but now am switching to the REMICAD Infusions. I have been on and off the prednisone, Increased Methrotrexate, Increased Sleeping Pills, Muscle Relaxers, and Whatever else would help the Pain, Rest and Slow down the RA and Fibromyalgia.

I sure hope it works for you, we all react different to meds. I also live in East Texas, up in Carlisle, Outside of Trinity, and Onalaska, on Lake Livingston, My Ra  Dr. is in Lufkin(Dr. A. Lugo) Hope you get to feeling better.
