I got some samples from my doc and I havent tried it yet...how do you like it? Any problems with it?  I am mainly concerned about getting hives from it because Naproxen gave me hive..I know they are different...but then alot of things give me hives...I've been on Celebrex for 2 years now and find it great. I'm instructed to take it as needed as it can raise blood preasure, but when i need it, it works great :D I would advise speaking to the doctor and giving it a go obviously starting in small doses. Good Luck I've been on Celebrex for four months and I have had very little problems with it.  I take what the ra said was a "therapeutic dose" of 400 mg per day.  It does seem to help, although its always hard to figure out how much of the relief is the Celebrex or the Enbrel. My RA doc won't put me on Celebrex. He told me that the Advil and ultram will work the same as Celebrex. Since starting this, I have notice a little difference. The OA, in my back, isn't as painful and what pain I do have is tolerable. Plus there's a family history of heart problems and stroke. Wish I could as everybody that I've talk to are very pleased with Celebrex.

MarisaAlso can't take it. I'm allergic to sulfa and it's in that family. They have me on Mobic. I really liked Vioxx. Too bad it was a killer.yeah i was on vioxx for a total of a week before i got a later telling me to stop taking it immediately :D I found it worked great too! shame really.

I took one tonight and ended up taking a Tylenol 4 and Flexeril anyways. I wasnt too impressed, but then I still feel stiff so maybe I was asking too much. I tend to wait untill the pain is really bad before I take anything. That is the wrong approach...I know I should practice what I preach...but I dont feel like getting up and getting my medicine when I dont feel good.

Oh how I need a maid and a butler!
