How many of you get numbness and tingling?

I have had my right knee swollen and aggravated for several months or weeks now.  I now have the heel of that foot tingly and numb.  It is constant and annoying.  I have a doctor appointment on the 1st and then the 2nd GP and RD.  So I will look into it then, but I was curious if any of you have these symptoms.

I have experienced it a few times in my feet or legs, but more often in my hands and arms. It is hard for me to tell if it is because of the RA or more likely my disk problems in my neck.i have it in my hands, arms & sometimes feet

I also get this in my hands and feet

My hands and feet too.I get numbness and tingles in my hands daily...  mainly my right side (which is strange because I am left handed).   I get this also in my feet from time to time.   Have you been checked for Raynard's or neurapthy (sp)?I have the tinglies in my fingers and toes all the time - sometimes they just burn.

I keep forgetting to ask about this one because it's so random but I've noticed especially when I go from the air conditioned building to the car (When it's hot) or vice versa sometimes I get this really wicked feeling in my hands and feet. Fingers especially. Pretty sure that's a symptom of Raynards.

I also have a problem between my knee and my ankle where my leg is numb. At one time it affected my feet really bad. Like if I crossed my legs for even just a short time my leg would go to sleep. That became very bothersome. At the time I'd been on MTX for close to two years without Folic Acid. My doctor said it could be a symptom if lack of filic acid; but when he checked my levels they were fine. BUT; once I started my folic acid reguilarlly it did get better. I do have some old nerve damage from a surgery years ago that causes some of it.

Mention it to your doctor though....could have several causes.

Oh yes.  In my feet a lot.

Susan

I have had it twice in my fingers - tendonitis from a flare in my wrist. When the flare ended, so did the tingling.

BUt I know the tingling is also a symptom of other things so definitely mention it to a doctor.

Hands and feet.
I have it in my arms and since I'm in Rome now and doing an unbelievable amount of walking, Iave numbness in my hips and legs. Actually, my legs completely gave out andI was unable to lift either foot.  I'm doing beter with a cane, but If I overdo it, the numbness comes and I lierally can't lift my feet off the ground.Notsomething you want to  ave apen  i nhe midle of the Sistene Chapel which happene to me.

Has anyone noticed a possible link between what we take and those strange tingling, numbness sensations in feet, toes, ankles, hands and fingers? Been on MTX, Prednisone and Paracetamol for six months, still fiddling with the doses trying to get it right but along the way have experienced all of the above to different degrees at different times.

The worst pain is in the left elbow and hand, terrible! A few days ago, still thinking the pain was maybe RA connected, my doctor allowed me to up the Prednisone but arranged for a Nerve Conduction Test. Had it today which indicates Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, an entirely different problem. While not conclusive, I believe the numbness etc worsened with the increased Prednisone. The good thing is I can now reduce the Prednisone and keep an eye on the foot problems. Maybe the legs need the same test, maybe the medications do contribute. Will talk to my Rheumy next week but curious to hear from others in the meantime. It sure can be a complicated disease, can’t it?

P.S. Knowing the REAL cause of the elbow and hand pain, I already feel a lot better. Is this a case of mind over matter?
