I've been on it now for close to 4 years. I'm up to 25mg. I also take Humira weekly; but I took MTX alone with great success for I guess two years before that. I'm getting ready to start reducing my MTX because I appear to be doing very well.
I know everything you read is scary; but this medication has been a round a long, long time. We have one member here that's been on it for 14 years.
The dose we take is far less than they use for cancer treatment; so try not to let it all scary you so. They have to warn you about all that stuff...the law requires it. If one person in the study reported a symptom; then it gets added to the list. That's my understanding.
