New evidence of a possible cure for Rheumatoid Arthritis.

Until now, doctors only have been able to treat the pain, but a new experimental therapy appears to heal some arthritis patients completely. Researchers in London have discovered medications, so far unnamed, that may cure the disease. So far, in the British study of only 20 patients, the researchers had a 90 percent success rate in curing Rheumatoid Arthritis.

Found this on a local news station website.  Anyone hear of this before.

Phil

Haven't heard of a UK study, but there was one done in Australia that
seemed really successful... it was in the news only a few months ago.
Here's two links to news stories about it:

It sounds really promising but it will take years before anything is
approved for patient use.

Hi Shannon,

Thanks for the links. I like to think there are large numbers of scientists/researchers working on our diseases - let's hope so! I like your chocolate quote by the way.
