Hey guys...
Had an appt with my rheumy this morning. All my labs are normal!
We then discussed, in depth, chronic pain and the links to anxiety and depression. I already take Celexa for anxiety/depression, but have been having issues with increased anxiety here of late. There is no shame to admit the problems of anxiety and depression in chronic illness and I have no problems telling people that I take anti-depressants. With the increase in anxiety, we came to the conclusion that maybe the Celexa isn't doing it's job anymore and I changed to Cymbalta. The new drug also provides some pain relief, so I going to drop the Duragesic patch that I wear. Again more medicine changes, but none for the RA.
