Hi Roxy~~~

We know how busy you are, but that still does not lessen our concern for you and yours.  Hope things are going as smoothy as possible.  I hope I never have to move!!  UGH!

Luv~~~

I just got home.  What a trip.  We planned a turnaround trip and had to stay three days.  Many appts. signing Kelsey up for services.  Big sadness, they only have one lock down if Kelsey decompensates and it is a hell hole in Salem OR.  How do I know?  I was a candy striper there when I was a kid - can you believe that.

Kelsey adored the house on first site.  Brett was a grump the whole way up there and we were all exhausted.  He saw the house and really depressed, kept being negative, all the fix its he would have to do.  I got so depressed BUT then the next morning we went to look at the house and he fell in love with it.  GET THAT

Since we planned on only spending a day, Kelsey and I both ran out of meds.  Everyone is so tired but we got a lot done.  The house is a mess, my yard looks dead here, my cats and fish were hungry, but I think everything survived.

You just have to know, I feel like I was lead to this house.  I honestly believe we are supposed to make this move.  Kelsey will get wonderful services but if she decompensates they have to send her 90 miles away and if she doesn't get stable in a week, she has to go to that Salem hellhole, so lots of prayers.  Right now she is as happy as a puppy and all is well.

Thanks for worrying.  Maybe tomorrow I can post more.  I am going to do some packing but tonight - I cannot move.

Hope to read some posts and eat dinner soon - if I can get the energy up to throw something together.  I made some chicken but I think we are going to have chicken and our homegrown tomatoes for din din.  Too tired and we spend a mint on going out to eat

Miss you

Roxy, I am still so excited for you. I am a firm believer in things such as being led to  houses, and your family being meant to be together, etc. These things all came together for a very special reason. I feel it in my heart.

I don't know you very well, but after seeing the pics of your house and reading what you have to say about your wonderful family, I feel like I really do know you. I know that sounds a bit wacky, but you know what I mean, I'm sure.

Keep the faith, Sweetie! I hope all works out with Brett starting up his own handyman business. Is that right? Isn't that what you said he wanted to try to do?

If you file for Soc Sec. Disability, be sure to talk to an attorney that specializes in it first. Also read their website for some guidelines. There are a lot of misunderstandings about timelines, etc. If you have any basic questions, I'll be glad to try to help.

My thoughts & prayers are with you all. Gentle hugs,

Nini

Good to hear from you Roxy. I was thinking about you this morning. I'm sure you're exhasted from the trip but it sounds like it was a productive one.

Stay positive....

Nini and all,  Nini I do believe this was all meant to be.  Brett is not sure what he wants to do yet but he wants to do something different.  He is looking at the classifieds and running ideas through his head.  We ALL love the house.  It was just an exhausting trip.  109 degrees and Kelsey has to pee every 30 min. or she has an accident and we had our dogs.  Pretty crazy.  I can't wait to post some pics.  We are all excited now.  The house does not need that much work at all, in fact, we could live quite comfortably as is it is just I have all my dreams to make it our own.  We also need to make a dog run to keep the dogs out of the beautiful landscaping and I have a roof that someday will be a deck - it overlooks the lake

Can't wait to make the house - OUR HOUSE.  Love you all  - check in later Rox

We don't think you're crazy....we've all seen the house. It's so beautiful I think everyone of us would love to live there.

You can hire someone to move the stuff for you. It sure sounds like that might be the best option this time.

Now, you're down to 2 1/2 weeks, Roxy. It's all happening just the way you pictured it. I don't think you're crazy for wanting this house - but I do think it will be a challenge. I also think you like challenges.     Roxy, I'm happy for you and like the others, I believe that this was your guiding angel leading you to this house.
Will keep you and yours in my prayers.
