Where  you go to get more info on RA?  I am very glad I found this place but is there anywhere else you regularly go for more information.  Don't get me wrong, I'd be lost without all of you! You have all been my lifeline since I found this place and I thank God for having found you all.  Everyone sems to have a wealth of knowledge and experience and I will be forever grateful for all that you have shared with me.  Just curious.

Here's some links to get you started; but you can always just do a general search putting Rheumatoid Arthristis in the search box. You'll find a wealth of information on the web. WebMD is a good place to start, and the Arthristis Foundation website is an excallent resource. I'm like you; I have quickly become very attached to this website but it doesn't offer much in the way of actual resources. Although just like right now...if you ask; you will receive. I'm sure others will add ideas to this list for ya. Actually though this site does offer information on their home page. That's how I found our discussion group here...I was researching MTX when I stumbled upon all the nice folks here.

This is just a few to get you started. Like I said....a google search is your best bet. You can pull up articles and information all day long. After a while it's all about the same...but if you're just starting out this is the best thing you can do for yourself right now. Arm yourself with knowledge. Good for you!!

Good luck. Please let me know if I can help in any other way.

Wow, thanks for these sites, they will keep me busy reading for a while. Also check your library and Barnes and Nobles carries some good books too you can even check them, before buying them.  what I mean is the have chairs. etc where you can sit and read the book to see if you want to purchase it.  Lots of libraries are now on line and they offer the service of where you check their online listings and pick the books you want to read and  then either they send you an email or call you when they have to books together for you and then all you have to do is check them out..  meme

You might also want to (if you haven't already) get a book put out by The Arthritis Foundation.  It's called "The Arthritis Foundation's Guide to Good Living with Rheumatoid Arthritis".

I got it at Books A Million shortly after diagnosis.  I do a lot of research online, and visit this forum often, but wanted additional "written" material to look over as needed.  I read almost the whole book in a short amount of time, yet I go back to it often to look things up.  It also has an entire section about the drugs used to treat RA.
