Hi All,

Just a quick hello to all of my forum comrades.  We will all get through this together, with all that we go through.  I have felt a lot of compassion from this group just reading though the posts.  I love how the support pours out when one of us is down or has questions, at least for a little while, the attention is off of our own issues and we are able to lift up another, and when that happens it feels good, really good. Hi I wanted to introduce myself although I have posted a few times. I have never been on a forum before, but I am grateful that we live in an age where information and connections are as close as our keyboards! I am 52 and DX with Ra this April. This is the first time in my life I have not lied about my age...It seems really petty at this point. I have 4 grown children and 5 grand-children. My three (4 legged children live with my partner and I) They are the best therapy dogs, they keep me moving and love me no matter what! They are all rescues which is one of my passions.I work full time as a Development and Public Relations director for a non-profit organization for adults with developmental disabilities. I really love my job, and it has been a challenge having to "slow down". I posted today about being sad all day, but I realize now some of it is the Pred. I guess I just want to say thank-you for being there, Rain h2osign38929.1595486111

Hi smhiles and Rain

You are so right about the support we give each other making a difference.  I remember when I had my first flares, the internet was still in its infancy and I had to rely on library books for information. They have their place of course, but nothing beats talking to others who know what you're dealing with!

Have a great day (night!) both of you,
