That's scary alright. I recommends the lowest dosge possible; but that's useless really. I'm maxed out on my Humira (I take it weekly) anything less doesn't work. Why use it at all then?

We take our chances I suppose.

Thanks for posting that link.

Scares me.  I keep hoping that Enbrel will have different results but I doubt it.  I have been smoking with Kelsey.  Happens every time I am with her Wow. So what are we supposed to do? When the drugs kill you, but you can't live without them...you take them and hope for the best. The thing is, it says the oldest, sickest patients who have been on these drugs the longest are at the greatest risk. That's not many of us right now, but that will be ALL of us eventually.

Fiona, hopefully by the time we are older and sicker, the meds will be better.....

I dont worry about the risks of ca with this stuff b/c we are already at increased risk for Lymphoma simply b/c we have RA, and b/c there are people who are healthy their whole life and do every thing right, and they still get ca and die anyways. There are risk factors sure, but it doesnt stop alot of us from doing other things that we know increase our risk...so what difference does it make?

AAWW Hell....yeah, I do worry just a little bit....but I guess I will have to chance it like everyone else for the sake of medical science. We are kind of like the guinnea pigs for these new drugs. I always considered donating my body to science, just not while I was still living!I'm not dead yet. I think I'd like to go for a walk.
