Busy days... | Arthritis Information

Hey guys! Hope every one is doing well...I havent been able to get online in almost a week which is practically a record for me. I had a doctors visit on Thursday and then I met with some friends from work which was fun. Friday I worked...we were sooooo busy, I was beat when I got home. I worked a 12 hr shift and then went to a 7:30 am WW meeting before going home. Saturday evening when I woke up, I went 4-wheeler riding with my husband and some of our friends. My joints were sore and stiff this morning when I got up, but they were sore and stiff before I went riding anyways. We went to the store and got stuff to cook out on the grill today and then just hung out at the casa for the rest of the day. So, I have been either on the go or trying to recover from being on the go the past few days. I havent been watching TV, reading or getting on the computer.

It seems like everyone is a little busier lately. I hope that it is because the warm weather is bringing everyone some much needed, however slight, relief from their flares. I seem to be doing a bit better, although as I said before, yesterday and today I have been a little more stiff. My feet have really been hurting, but I have just sort of decided to suck it up for now. I am not ready to go back to being a couch potatoe just yet!

Hope everyone else is good...or as good as can be expected with the wretched disease!

So I'm guessing you dont have air-conditioning in many homes there? It has been hot here too, but then we are used to it, except my electric bill was 0 this month (ouch). It is worth it though...my house is 67 degrees, it is just alot of house to cool and we have to leave the back door open at times for the pooches to come and go. We are looking into a doggie door soon to eliminate that problem.

It is too hot for my kids to go out and play until about 6 in the evening. That is typical for summer here. Summer is like winter for alot of other people. We do alot more outdoor activities in December and January than we do in July and August.

Crunchy, so glad you've been out having fun. Yes, I missed you. But what awesome reasons for not being here.

Fiona, hope you get some relief from the Arava and the heat.
