Some people are just dumbasses! (excuse my language)

#1 dumba$$ in my book is my hubby.

Sunday night my prednisone wore off earlier then expected. I was stiff and hurting everywhere! I couldn't get out of the computer chair, my right knee was stiff and felt like it was popping out of place everytime I would move it. So, I tried for about 15 mins to get out of the chair. Finally I did and BOY the pain in my knee. Hurt to stand on it. So, I am hunched over, wabbling, and saying ouch ouch, and crying all the way down the hallway. And hubby was walking behind me, he bumped my lower back with his hand and I started cussing him. Man, I was in so much pain and then when he bumped me I thought he was trying to hurry me up. So, it made me mad! Then he started cussing at me and went to the bathroom to take a shower.

Make a long story short hubby did not even talk to me when he got out the shower, he did not even tell me good nite that he loved me or even a kiss good night. NOTHING!! And then when he got up to go to work the next morning he ignored me and did not tell me bye or give me a kiss bye. I guess that is my "punishment", for being what he called me a B!tch.

And to add to that when he came home from work, I asked him to appologize for upsetting me and he told me no that I did not deserve an appology. And then I tried to explain to him why I acted the way i did and he just told me that he would have been able to stand the pain and not acted like that.

WHATEVER Dumba$$!!!

I can not stand the silent treatment!! My ex-husband use to pull that one all the time...drove me up a wall.

Notice I said EX-HUSBAND!!

Hang in there sister. We're here for ya.

#2 in the book is my 00 piece of CRAP computer!

It likes to restart when ever it feels like it. I think I have narrowed it down to overheating.

Yeah back when it had a warrenty I called them dumbbutt's at HP and told them of my problem. I said well first off this 00 piece of crap that you guys call a computer is restarting and well, they could not tell me why it was restarting. Whatever!!

sending you lots of extra ((((hugs)))) today my dear. Love, juliahwhew honey....bad day!    Here's hoping tomorrow will be better!!! Hey jooniper sorry to hear you having a bad day but I can totally relate, for some reason when im in extreme pain i become a big potty mouth lol. I tend to swear up a storm and get mad, most of the time not directed at anyone but a lot of people just dont understand that when you feel like crap ya tend to get cranky. At least i do. So dont worry about it, your hubby will hopefully understand soon.

As far as your computer, maybe I can help. You might have a bunch of spyware on it, sometimes computers do silly stuff like that when its covered in spyware. If you need any more info, send me a PM and I can send ya some neat programs to check it out, everythings gonna be ok! :D *hugs*

Ha! Most men have a migraine when it's a headache and flu when it's a cold.

I am lucky my Husband is great.  He just says "shall I leave you alone now?"  and goes to play on his PS2.  Bless.

But lots of hugs for putting up with that............

If it is overheating a new fan should only cost about . And spyware is easily enough removed with the right software. Normally, when a computer is overheating it exhibits some odd behaviour first. If its just powering off, it could be the power supply.

Hope you get it sorted out.

Hello Everyone!

Thank you for your replies. But it was not just a bad day it has been a bad week!! Me and hubby have been arguing more this week then we have in a year!! Mostly because I am hurt and he just does not understand that he annoys me when I am hurting.

I know I get a potty mouth when I am hurting. I tend to use the F word a great deal and no other word and it is always directed at hubby!

As for my computer. I have destructed it which means I reformatted it back to factory condition, I done that last Friday. Which I figured it would get rid of my error I kept seeing in the event log, but it did not. I have downloaded 3 different sensor monitors to see if it was overheating and apparently so. It is my power / aux that seems to be overheating. So now I have to find something to help it not overheat. Maybe I new cooling fan.

Thanks for your suggestions about my computer.

Arthritis can put a tremendous strain on a marital relationship. Especially when you are young and have young children to raise. Frankly when you are at the point, " he doesn't understand that he annoys me when I am hurting", and you are hurting most of the time, that doesn't bode well. Houston, we have a problem!

Good luck to you and I hope you seriously consider counseling, together or by yourself if need be. I went to counseling when I was having difficulty adjusting to my diagnosis and no meds they gave me worked. Most churches offer marriage counseling for free or very low cost. And there also are other options available.

You definitely need to get some kind of help with your meds. It doesn't sound like the prednisone is helping enough. How much longer before you will be able to start on some different meds? I hope its very soon, you seem to be in a lot of pain.

I hope things get better for you an your family. Lets hear a post about the new baby, I'm sure you're a proud mama.

I think my mood swings are what are causing the problems. He has always annoyed me ...lol. He says I yell at him, but to me he is yelling at me. So we are at the yelling stage again...lol. We had this problem when we were first married. We kept thinking one was yelling at the other. Don't know. all I know is he yelled at me to open the door when I had one shoe off and the other shoe in the process of getting off...lol. I said one minute and he yelled I don't have a minute.

Anyways, we got along better yesterday. No arguing no nothing. Just like normal. PLUS he stayed away from me...lol.

Hi jooniper,

Sorry to hear about your horrible work. You were syaing that you're having an overheating problem? The problem with computers is that dust very easily gets inside the computer. You need to regularily vaccum any dust that gets inside. My suspicision is that your fan is "clogged" with dust. You can probably see your fan running in the back of the computer when you turn your computer on. How does it sound? Does it sound noisier than when you first got the computer?

This is what you should do:

Make sure your computer is off and unplugged when you do these next parts. First vaccum the fan from the outside.  I'm not sure how your computer covers comes off...it varies...so you either need to unsrew some screws in the back or it will slide off. Now you have to be careful what you touch in here because it's very sensitive to static shock and may damage the circuitry. Whenever you want to touch anything in a computer, "discharge" yourself by touching a screw near the outter corners of the computer. If my suspicision is correct,  you will see a whole lot of dust and dust bunnies in there. Carefully, take you vaccum and suck up the dust and do the same to the fan. When you are done cleaning it, put the cover back on (either slide or screw it) and give it a try. Hopefully this will have solved your overheating problem. If it persists, then you may need to get a new fan for your computer. But, first try this easy and cheap method.

Goodluck!

Thanks for the suggestion! I have already done what you have said. It was dusty in there and the heatsink was full of dust and the temp for the motherboard dropped like 2 degrees celcius after cleaning the dust from the heatsink.

But my power / aux is what is over heating. The aux connector to the graphics card to be exact. I just do not or have found anything on the net that tells how to fix that problem.

I am trying to decide if I need to get a new power supply unit that is 500w or something else. If I ever get that part figured out my computer will be better then ever.

I will still blame hubby for the problem with my computer, he is the one who ordered that graphics card
