Sacroliliac Joint Injection | Arthritis Information

My pain management doctor recommends this injection for joint pain in my hip and butt.  Has anyone had this done?  Did it work? I have sharp pain in these areas.  Cathy R.

I've had them in my knees and they've helped. Had it in my shoulder and it didn't. My daughter had them in her back and they really helped for awhile.

I think it is definitely worth trying as most people do get really good results from it. But once you get the shot, then your doctor should be getting you into some good physical therapy to build up your muscles in these areas. That way maybe you won't have to have it again.

The shots are not as bad as they look. Good luck.

Thanks, Deanna.  Cathy R.
