Is anyone out this this AM. My left eye is in so much pain. I have tried OTC eye gel, and natural tears. I have been having pressure in both eyes for about 6 weeks now, but it only last a few seconds, waters allot and stops. This has been gong on for hours and I'm thinking I need to go to the ER or something, any help?, thnaks Rain Rain, I think you should seek medical assistance ASAP.  It's probably nothing very serious, but you never want to mess around with your eyesight!  You really have nothing to gain by putting it off except more time to worry and wonder.  Go get it checked out.

I will be thinking of you - and please let us know what you find out!

Hugs DEFINITELY get it checked. While I got the RA in the family, my sister and brother have an autoimmune eye disorder (chronic iritis) in which the iris becomes very painful and inflamed. My sisters eye gets red and irritated during a flare up, but she mostly describes a lot of pain. Don't wait!

IF it's very painful I'd go ahead and go too. I'm so scared about eye stuff. I can't imagine losing my eye site on top of everything else I know I'm facing in my future. I take that one very serious.

Good Luck. Let us hear from you later today please.

Yes, go to the ER. You could have developed glaucoma which they must treat NOW. Or, you can inflammation for the RA, which they need to treat NOW.

Follow your instincts. I have glaucoma and everytime I get pain, they get me into my eye doctor pronto. This is not to be messed around with.

It also could be other things, just as serious.

Go!

Rain,  How are you?  Did you go to doctor?  Thinking of you and look forward to hearing how you are doing.  Rain, I'm breathing a sigh of relief here. I've had this happen with the severe inflammation. I'm glad these doctors are taking care of you. As long as they are treating it, you should be just fine.
